The volume of fermenter increased by 6% ~ 15% , and the amount of defoamer decreased by about 1/3, which was beneficial to the improvement of extraction rate. 3. The diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes of the fermenter influences the moving resistance of materials and the speed of inlet and outlet materials. The diameter of feeding tube, discharging tube, inoculating tube and sugar feeding tube should be larger than the original one, so as to reduce the feeding and discharging time, shorten the whole fermentation period and improve the batch intensity. Intake pipe, exhaust pipe diameter should also be larger to adapt to changes in air flow, reduce resistance, reduce air compressor load and save energy.
