The preparation process of oxygen bombs.
Today, we will introduce the preparation process of the oxygen bomb in the automatic oxygen bomb calorimeter method.
·Weigh 0.9-1.1 grams of air dried coal sample with a strength less than 0.2 millimeters in a combustion dish.
·Take a known mass of ignition wire and connect both ends to the two electrode columns of the oxygen bomb.
·Bend the ignition wire to maintain good contact with the sample, and be careful not to touch the combustion vessel.
·Add 10 milliliters of distilled water to the oxygen bomb and tighten it carefully.
·Slowly inflate the oxygen bomb with the combustion vessel until the pressure reaches 2.8-3.0MP, and the continuous oxygenation time after reaching the pressure shall not be less than 15 seconds.
At this point, the preparation phase for the oxygen bomb has been completed.
